This is a great product. I decided to get the more expensive one for my boyfriend (there's a plastic model that's cheaper that people basically said it's cheap and cheaply made). I've only had it a few weeks, but it installed very easily, after a minute or so it's totally fog-free, there's no water that's wasted as it get recycled back into the shower stream. I originally bought one that was mounted in the shower either by suction cup or sticky backing, neither worked in my shower. Likely because it's a tiled shower and the surface for suction or adhesive is not ideal (added to wetness in the shower). My only criticism is one that I expected because many people said it about the plastic model. It comes with a small amount of plumber's tape and to get a really tight fit, you need more. There's a little drip at the connection, but it still works well. I'll just get more tape to make a tighter fit. I say it's well worth the money since, in theory, you shouldn't need to get another one--ever. There's no fog-less coating to wear off since it uses the water you shower with and it's built into your shower, so it wont fall down.

I've used ShowerTek mirrors for years, starting with the white plastic one. They've all worked (functioned) flawlessly. I've had this model now for about 4 years and need to replace it as all of the fittings are beginning to leak. The worst thing about all of ShowerTek's mirrors is their short "neck". My shower stem is very high and I actually have to angle the mirror down in order to use it. Why don't they make an extended version? I can't be the only person who has had this problem.

I've used the original white plastic ShowerTek for many years, and absolutely LOVE it! It doesn't look like much though, and I once tried to switch over to this one as it's much more esthetically appealing. It doesn't WORK though. It fogs up as bad as the so-called fog-free mirrors that are supposed to have some kind of fog-free coating on them but only seem to stay fog-free for about one day. I went back to the original white plastic model. They're no longer available, unfortunately, so hopefully ShowerTek will come out with a new model that both looks nice AND works!

Out of the box, this mirror fogs up every time I use it. I assume that something must be blocking the little copper pipe inside. Sometime soon I will remove it and take a look to see if it can be fixed. If not, it's going right back to Amazon. Update 5/13/2008 - After moving and reinstalling this mirror in my new shower, I noticed a little tube inside the connector that must have been blocked when I first installed it. I unbent the tube, installed it, and it works GREAT! My rating changes from two stars to 5! Just be sure to clean it often ... small water spots can occur if it's not consistently maintained. (Everything needs to be maintained, though, doesn't it?)

If it weren't so expensive, it would've gotten 5 stars. Works as advertised. Probably pays for itself over years since you don't have to keep buying $15 dollar mirrors that scratch when you wipe them down. Reversible feature is great. I use just one side and turn it around when done. That way the side I use stays clean without water spots. Easy to install. Very sturdy.

I haven't even gotten to test this out as a mirror or razor holder, because the suction cups are awful. Two valiant attempts to stick them up, carefully wetting them and trying to create suction. How can they launch such a terrible product? Truly lousy, and worst of all, it is one of two brushed metal choices at Bed Bath and Beyond. I wish I'd read reviews before buying this. it's going back. Truly awful.

Fogs up terribly but it does stay stuck to the wall if I attach it. However, if my cleaners attach it, it invariably falls and marks the porcelain in my tub. Really an overpriced razor holder.

This should be sold as a foggy mirror. It's not really fog-free at all. Also, the suction cups DO slide off after a few hours. The banging noise in the tub really freaked me out.

I bought in Fall 07 and the first thing that I noticed is the suction works maybe for a couple of hours then the mirror falls off the bathtub wall into the bathtub, making nice loud noise. Second, it fogs up quickly making it necessary to hold it under the shower water every few seconds in order to remove the fog so that you can see yourself shaving. Overrall, don't buy it unless you want to make a charitable donation to to the seller and get nothing useful in return.

This mirror is a shabby razor holder at best. It isn't fog free in the least.

Easy to use and clean/rinse. Good, close, quick shave. Expect up to ten shaves per charge. Would have liked a travel case with it. Lack of low-battery-charge indicator could leave you with a suddenly dead shaver if the charging cord isn't handy, since one can only finish the shave with it plugged in. Probably not a problem if you always leave it plugged in when not in use, but that is not recommended for optimum rechargeble battery life. Just remember to pack the charging cord when you travel. For the price, I'm well satisfied.

I shaved with this for the first time yesterday. I had about 3 days worth of whiskers and it easily cut them. My prior razor was also a Norelco and I owned it for at least 3 years. It never gave me any problems at all. I am very happy with how this one is made. The pop up head is a nice feature and makes cleaning it easy. I also like having a push button to turn it on instead of sliding a switch. I am glad that I did not opt to buy anything more expensive because I don't see how I'd be any more pleased.

I have been shaving with a blade for over forty years, and since retirement I now don't shave everyday. (Just me and my teenage son here.) Some years back I tried a budget foil shaver that torn half my face off, and later a budget rotary that was not much better. I decided to read some reviews on some expensive rotary shavers (not that I intended to spend $200+ for one) and found that all the bells and whistles on the latest models (from reviews) were more of a hassle than help. I then started looking at reviews on some moderately priced units and came across one review on the 7310 that said: "Norelco had it right years ago and then ruined it". I gave it a try and it has only been a month but so far I have been very happy with the shave. It is quiet, and shaves me as close as a blade. I have to go over my neck a couple of times (whiskers grow sideways) but I had to do that with a blade. My 17yr. old son tried it and now I will probably have to buy him one, and he has been using those fancy and expensive 5 blade Gillette razors. I only write a review if an item is really bad or pretty good. This item is pretty good and I would have given it 5 stars except after about 10 days it stopped halfway. I recharged it and it is humming again, but there should be a red warning light, although I kinda knew it was ready for a charge. I would recommend this shaver.

I bought this in a deal in walmart with very reasonable price.But this is NOT good as I thought. It is very irritating when you use at neck region. Like said in the instructions I used it for 3 weeks to see the results.Its still the same so I returned it. I would not recommend this to a friend. Thanks

An excellent shaver. Cuts close with minimum passes, a trimmer that is easy to use, and easy to clean under warm running water. Comfortable and secure in the hand. About two weeks between charges. Cordless, but if the battery dies during a shave, can be used corded. Nice compact charger, selects right voltage automatically, so great for international travel. So much better than the Remington MS2-390 I ditched after just a few months. I would definitely recommend this rotary Norelco over the foil Remington. A couple of minor niggles; first, no carry case - so I'll be using that from my old Norelco that served me well for about eight years; and charge time on this new one is about eight hours - but only 40 mins on the old Norelco - is this really progress?! Include a case and faster charge and I'd give it a 5 star.

I bought this as an alternative to my Wahl nose/ear trimmer, thinking it might be an improved design. It does not do as good a job and you cannot remove the head for thorough cleaning. It does not a good job on eyebrows with the long guard, but cuts the eybrows a little short. I would not buy this product again and am going back to my Wahl.

This product could be perfect. It is shaped in a way that reaches inside the nose to cleanly clip the hairs. Worked great until one time - approximately after a month's use - it stopped working. New batteries did not help. I bought another one assuming the experience with #1 was a fluke. The second one lasted a week. It died - nothing I tried would make it run. Too bad - seemed like a great design ... if you could get it to run.

For periodic use, this trimmer has worked sufficiently for my needs. The trimmer cuts relatively close to the skin, but it would have been nice to have it trim a little closer to the skin. I have not had any skin pinches or cuts nor have I had any reliability problems with this unit. Cleaning is simple enough, just run it under some warm water. It's definitely a handy trimmer to have.

This appliance is a disappointment. It takes too long for a simple function and you must go over and over the area. Save your money and get a little pair of scissors.

Works well for a short time, design looks good, but then like so many here, the piece of junk fails because the battery fails to make proper contact. I am good at fixing things, but this does not make sense and not much you can do but throw it out. A shame! Very disappointed.

I hadn't realized how dull my original blades had become after a year (I shave my head as well as my face), until I ordered replacements through Amazon. Razor works like new with these blades. Price was substantially less than in retail stores or from the Philips/Norelco website. Received my order in just 2 days. I have not been disappointed by Amazon on anything I've bought from them - going on three years and over a dozen products.

I searched all around trying to find the razor heads and get a good price and until I checked here with Amazon.com I couldn't find what I wanted. Easy to order and received in a short amount of time. Thanks!

I bought this replace blade for Philips 7310XL. The replacement blade has less blade than the one came with the shaver. As I use it, it took me 4-5 more passes to achieve the same quality of shave than the one that came with the shaver. Do not buy this! add few bucks and buy a new shaver

These are fine new cutting heads. However, I have in the past used a Vollco sharpener, which I just found in the drawer from my previous Norelco! Amazon also carries these (search Vollco Sharpening Heads For Select Norelco Models)and they are great, work like a charm to make your 'old' heads last 3-4x longer as long as you take care of them. I would suggest getting both a set of new heads and a sharpener set so that you can 1) sharpen your old heads to like new condition and then 2) have the backup of the new set for when you need them. My experience is that the re-sharpened heads dull just a bit faster than new originals and you really can only get a few sharpenings from them before they need replacing.

These are the only replacement heads that I'm aware of for the Norelco Electric Shaver. They restore the shaver to like new performance but in my opinion they are overpriced.

The product was advertized to fit the wdf-5500, but when I got it the packaging didn't list that model. I was worried that I was going to have to return it but then I looked carefully at the product and decided it looked almost exactly like what I had so I took a chance and opened the package and put it on my old shaver. It is a perfect fit! I wonder if the screen and cutter package didn't list it because it is a "newer" model that when they started making and marketing the repacement part? My only complaint is that my original foil was gold, and this one is silver, so it doesn't exactly match... but who really sees it anyway! :)

the product is great and the installation was easy to replace the old w/the new. work so much better now!

I have the purple model wdf6000c I have had it for 5 years now THE BEST SHAVER EVER, my dad was in the hospital and needed to be shaved, I had mine, so I shaved him with it, it shaves better then a mans shaver, now my mom and dad and daughter bought one and the replacement blades are great they fit perfectly!

this item as shown is incorrectly identified to fit several models when in fact package states only for two selected groups. I purchased from this site only to have to return and pay costs because Amazon said it wasn't their fault.

Had this in 2 days came packaged perfectly to avoid damage. The website was easy it showed pictures of actual item to improve accuracy. I would buy from them again without hesitation.

Don't waste your money. Didn't work very well. Plus you have to get the right size can for it. The whole thing just a waste. My husband used it once, then it sat under the sink for a year. I finally gave it to goodwill.

This is a great accessory for the man who likes an old fashioned warm lather shave. I turn it on before showering and it is ready when I get out. It can accomodate both the short and tall cans of shaving cream by adapting the base. I am on my second machine which lasts for years. It is also great for those of us who shave our heads. It really prepared the scalp for a safer cleaner shave. You still should use a good blade, like the Fusion for your scalp shaving and for safety.

A little more than 5 years ago, received a similar model as a Father's Day Gift. It died. Searched brick and mortar stores for more than a month and could not find one. Was told it was a "speciality" item -- carried only around Christmas & Father's Day. Ordered this online. Shipped promptly and works great.

I had an old model 10 years ago and loved it. I bought this new one and had to take it back because it did not heat up. The one I exchanged it for had the same problem. I called Conair and they told me that people complained that the older ones were too hot. Now they make them so that they don't heat up as much. This is a total waste of time. I took this one back also. This new version is worthless!

My model is HLM10C. Not sure if there's a difference; it looks the same as the HLM10R, has the same functions, and Amazon doesn't list an HLM10C. I'm pretty happy with this device. You do have to remember to shake the can each time. Otherwise the shaving cream won't be useful. But as long as you remember, it comes out plenty warm for a nice comfortable shave.

I ordered this razor for those days I'm in a hurry to get to work and don't have time to shave at home. I'm gotten used to electric razors, even expensive ones, not giving that great a shave. This one is different. It cuts the whiskers exceptionally close. It buzzes like an angry bee and even irritates the skin on my upper lip a tad, but for me those factors are no big deal. If you want to drive and shave at the same time I highly recommend this great little product.

Best gadget for my husband. Small, convenient, works well. Plugs into his car outlet and he can do a quick shave.
