Better than some others but the ice for the snow cone is still not nearly fine enough. I guess you have to pay a lot more to get a REAL Hawaiian shaved ice machine.

If you aren't in a hurry to get crushed Ice, then this is your product. It doesn't seem to have the power needed to crush ice quickly. However, the kids like it and the price was right, so...

My kids received this for Christmas and I was a little worried after reading the reviews that it would suck. However, to my great relief, it works beautifully. We have had lots of slushies now with no major problems. My first attmept did get jammed because I tried to shave too much ice at once. Now I just do a little ice at a time until the bowl is full (this provides 2 big slushes). In this way, you do have to stand by to keep adding ice but it's a whole lot easier than my Snoopy snow cone machine! Also, it is very loud - like any blender would be that is crushing ice, I guess. Just clean and dry afterwards and you shouldn't have a problem with rust.

This makles great snow cones! Works well - better than any similar machine I have seen. If it has a drawback, it's noise (but it's noisy to chop ice). Very well designed and sturdy and makes perfectly shaved ice.

I've always wanted a slushie machine of my own, especially since it can be hard to find good sugar-free flavors, so I was excited to get one of these. While it does work well in some ways, I was disappointed in others. On the plus side, it's relatively easy to use. Put ice in the top, put flavoring (if you want) in the bowl, turn the bowl (which brings the mixing paddle into the right position), and you're good to go. Twist the blue plastic cover to turn on or off. It makes noise, of course, but far less than I was expecting. Comes apart easily for cleaning. Works pretty quickly, too. And it's a lot better than using a manual crank. On the down side, the ice is a lot more coarse than I was expecting, even in slushie mode (which seems about the right texture for snow cones). And the mixing paddle doesn't seem to do very much. It spins slowly and doesn't do anything to bring the liquid from the bottom of the bowl into contact with the upper layers of ice. So as a slushie machine, it definitely leaves something to be desired. I suspect, however, that it will work out very well for making iced coffee and other such drinks.

This ice shaver is great! My kids love it and we can crank out lots of shaved ice fast. I don't have to freeze cups of ice and can just use cubes out of my fridge that are ready to go. It also shaves really fine which is better than a lot of other shavers out there and I have gone through several - summers are hot and my kids love snow cones. I also bought some of the victorio syrups that were recommended - Tiger's Blood was our favorite! yummy.

I was going to buy this ice shaver and thank goodness I read these reviews. As another reviewer pointed out, 3 of the reviews are obviously plants. Why would I buy from a company that has to lie? Never.

The victorio Electric Ice Shaver Is a pretty good Ice Shavery - a little top heavy, and it does get hot after about 3 cones. But, it does the job w/o stopping if you're just doing 1 or 2 snow cones. If you need a large amount of shaved ice there are other shavers that will accomplish the job more efficiently; w/o the orig batch melting before you get all the ice shaved. I don't like when reviewers try to decieve us by "planting" fake reviews, nothing against the shaver, but if you go into all 3 initial reviews, they're all written by the same person, w/very little changed - just minor changes in items reviewed. Wonder what their agenda is.

This machine makes great shaved ice. I LOVE the fact that I can use regular ice cubes, and it doesn't come out all chunky like some of the other ice shavers we've had. It comes out nice and fluffy like shaved ice should be. Seems nice and sturdy and can handle lots of use and abuse. The safety lid is a great feature too - it doesn't turn on until the lid is closed. In fact, the lid is the switch - just press it down and off you go. We love it and are getting another one to give as a gift.

This is a great ice shaver. Victorio Kitchen Products has a reputation of high quality and this ice shaver is part of that tradition. It is a nice size and fun to use. It will only turn on when the lid is closed so I don't have to worry about accidents. I like that I don't have to freeze blocks of ice for it to shave because it uses regular old ice cubes to make very fluffy snow-like shaved ice. I am looking forward to using it even more when the weather is hot. I purchased it along with a bunch of Victorio Kitchen Products brand syrups, I haven't tried them all yet but I am very happy with the flavors I have tried.Orange Cream Snow Cone Syrup It was a great buy and I am very pleased.

Mr.Shaver seems to have gotten rowdier with age. Known as a Texas songwriter & country/ folk/roots icon, his last three releases with late son Eddie are his most all-out rock. Here he shines with some hard edged country rock that'll have you feeling somewhat more aggressive than usual. A dandy indeed!

this is a great CD. Rarely do I find a CD where I like every song-this is one of them.

Man does this album rock out!!!!!!!! From "Thunderbird" to "She Can Dance" this is pure Texas heaven. When Billy Joe does take it down a notch as on "I'll Be Here" you don't mind because this is the song you want to dance to with your bride. Billy Joe is in fine voice, the songs linger in the mind long afterwards. And, his son, Eddy, may be the best guitarist in Texas since SRV. Get yourself a copy and one for every friend you've got!

Just brought the Electric Shaver album, love it. The elder Shaver may not have the best voice, but it fits the songs he sings. "Slave at the feet of the Queen" is classic country, or the way country should be. The younger Shavers guitar playing adds a pulse to the album that will get your toe tapping while the lyrics have you thinking.

It's CDs like this that makes music seem like such a good deal. You would spend more than the cost of this disc to take your girl to a movie. That would last what - an hour and a half. This disc will stay with you forever.

Works well for what it's advertised to do, however a design flaw in the top part of the base of the device will cause a tab to get broken off after several months of extensive use. I used mine 2-3x a month for 6 months on my chest/back/legs and the head attachments no longer stay in place. There are two images added to this item from a El Shadow that reveal the problem exactly. I am going to downgrade to the BG2020.

This is a steal at just $10 more than the model below it. I had the ~$30 trimmer and it works but this model works soooo much better. Love it.

Great product. Got it for my husband who is stationed in Afghanistan and he loves it.

I have to say, when I bought this I was a little bit skeptical. After using it though, It works great. After using Blades for all these years, this is definitely the way to go and so much easier. I like all the different attachements as well. Since I have relatively thin hair on my body, I use just the main foil and one other attachement mainly. I would definitely recommend this bodygoomer, and after using it, I can see why it's rated so Highly.

So my main concern was finding something I could use on my kibbles and bits... "down south". As background, I've been holding on to an old electric shaver that Panasonic made 10 years ago because its trimmer was the ONLY thing I'd found that didn't cut the 'goose' skin down on the beanbag... FINALLY here is something that is totally beanbag friendly. I also used it on my chest, and while it takes a few passes and I have to hold it sort of 'inverted' for the first pass, it does a solid job with minimal irritation. But the MAIN thing I am impressed with is the no pinching, no cutting action down where nature really didn't want you getting cut. Five stars for finally giving me an answer that works as it should.

Easy to use and clean/rinse. Good, close, quick shave. Expect up to ten shaves per charge. Would have liked a travel case with it. Lack of low-battery-charge indicator could leave you with a suddenly dead shaver if the charging cord isn't handy, since one can only finish the shave with it plugged in. Probably not a problem if you always leave it plugged in when not in use, but that is not recommended for optimum rechargeble battery life. Just remember to pack the charging cord when you travel. For the price, I'm well satisfied.

I shaved with this for the first time yesterday. I had about 3 days worth of whiskers and it easily cut them. My prior razor was also a Norelco and I owned it for at least 3 years. It never gave me any problems at all. I am very happy with how this one is made. The pop up head is a nice feature and makes cleaning it easy. I also like having a push button to turn it on instead of sliding a switch. I am glad that I did not opt to buy anything more expensive because I don't see how I'd be any more pleased.

I have been shaving with a blade for over forty years, and since retirement I now don't shave everyday. (Just me and my teenage son here.) Some years back I tried a budget foil shaver that torn half my face off, and later a budget rotary that was not much better. I decided to read some reviews on some expensive rotary shavers (not that I intended to spend $200+ for one) and found that all the bells and whistles on the latest models (from reviews) were more of a hassle than help. I then started looking at reviews on some moderately priced units and came across one review on the 7310 that said: "Norelco had it right years ago and then ruined it". I gave it a try and it has only been a month but so far I have been very happy with the shave. It is quiet, and shaves me as close as a blade. I have to go over my neck a couple of times (whiskers grow sideways) but I had to do that with a blade. My 17yr. old son tried it and now I will probably have to buy him one, and he has been using those fancy and expensive 5 blade Gillette razors. I only write a review if an item is really bad or pretty good. This item is pretty good and I would have given it 5 stars except after about 10 days it stopped halfway. I recharged it and it is humming again, but there should be a red warning light, although I kinda knew it was ready for a charge. I would recommend this shaver.

I bought this in a deal in walmart with very reasonable price.But this is NOT good as I thought. It is very irritating when you use at neck region. Like said in the instructions I used it for 3 weeks to see the results.Its still the same so I returned it. I would not recommend this to a friend. Thanks

An excellent shaver. Cuts close with minimum passes, a trimmer that is easy to use, and easy to clean under warm running water. Comfortable and secure in the hand. About two weeks between charges. Cordless, but if the battery dies during a shave, can be used corded. Nice compact charger, selects right voltage automatically, so great for international travel. So much better than the Remington MS2-390 I ditched after just a few months. I would definitely recommend this rotary Norelco over the foil Remington. A couple of minor niggles; first, no carry case - so I'll be using that from my old Norelco that served me well for about eight years; and charge time on this new one is about eight hours - but only 40 mins on the old Norelco - is this really progress?! Include a case and faster charge and I'd give it a 5 star.

This item does work. I have had no issues with turning on and off. Also all the attachments work as described. The battery life is good and the wet usage is nice. However, this groomer does not cut properly and it never has. I have been nicked several times and I always have irritated skin after usage.

My old bodygroom had seen better days and it's third foil was due to be replaced. Instead, I got this on sale at Target for 36 bucks and it's much better then the original. It's a much better built machine and it feels like it. It's also about half as quiet. Beware however, it's a bit narrower and can slip out of your hand much easier. The foil on this one is really tight and doesn't constantly fall out. The tool holder works great and is really neat. You'd never know all that stuff was back there built into the base. The battery life is the same as the old one; meaning, GREAT! I tried the other head on someone else and it works fine. I can't use it on me, because I was constantly screwing around with the old one, so I said the heck with it and completely shaved all my body hair off. Now, I've come to prefer it that way and so does my wife. Many people say this doesn't shave completely smooth, I have very fine hair which is the toughest on it and while there is a little stubble, it's barely noticable. In fact, it's probably better then any foil shaver out there period! Obviously, there was much interest in the old Bodygroom that they took the time to build this one. And, it answers every complaint I ever had about the old one in spades. Great Precision Machine! Hats off to the new Bodygroom.

I just finished trying out this product for the first time. I had the first version, BG2020, for about two years and then the battery gave out on that. I was satisfied with the original and was looking to get the battery replaced, but, that was harder than it sounds. The other day I bought this one for 49.99 at Target. After the first use, these are my initial impressions. I like the feel of it. It feels sturdier and more "solid" than the original. It looks better as well with the silver on the sides. It charges the same as the original, aka it sits in the stand. Apparently, after one 8 hr charge, you can get 50 min of battery time, but, I haven't tested that yet. This time, it has different heads. One is similar to the original, but, they've introduced a second head now called the "trimmer." The trimmer has attachments to adjust for the amount of hair taken off. In the current picture above, the trimmer and attachments are seen next to the trimmer. Both work as described in the instructions, which I do recommend reading before first use. I learned some things. It did the job well where I used it. In fact, there was always one spot where I had to be really careful when I used the original and this one gave me no problems in that spot. Just fyi, this isn't going to produce a shaved look. The thing works well, but, regardless, there will always be a little bit of stubble. It is a very small amount, but, if you want the shaved look, you're going to need to shave. Otherwise, this thing is great.

I really wanted an electric razor, and it looked great when i got it. However, shaving with it is awkward. It cuts you and it not comfortable to get the hair off some hard to reach places. I actually have to say that my regular cheap razor may have been a wiser choice.

Pros: 1. Inexpensive for reasonably good durability - there are sub-10$ kits with toy-like combs! 2. Easy cleaning of the blades - secret: use a vacuum cleaner on the sides - that unused attachment you have been saving just for this purpose! 3. Easy to do the front and head-sides yourself! 4. The turbo mode is more powerful, but I have found better cutting with slow, steady strokes in the normal ON mode. 5. Savings - NOT thousands or hundreds of dollars for me. I used to go to a saloon every 2 months, now I need to go just twice a year for the mandatory professional sculpting (once every 3 times of self cutting). Around [...] bucks in savings per year for me. Cons: 1. Wired - but were you expecting a rechargeable cordless at this price? 2. Not advisable to try doing the back of the head yourself. You will need someone for 5 minutes to do the back and for getting a uniform neckline. If you want a pure-self-cut-kit and short hair, get the Remington Short Cut Rechargeable Clipper - self cuts everywhere beautifully. 3. Don't expect professional cuts if you are the not-so-patient type or have real dense hair. I have moderately-dense, 1.5 inch hair that I trim down to 0.5 inches and this Conair is perfect for me. 4. You will need to take off the blades for cleaning about every 3 times of cutting. It is simple to oil, realign and put back the blades.

I have used this clipper very few times. Every time I needed to change an attachment comb it was very difficult to snap it in place. A couple of times it would just not work. The last time, the clipper came apart, and I have not been able to put it back together. I guess you get what you pay for . . . awful!

We have used these clippers four times now and have had no problems, we never had to use the turbo mode and the attachments are great. And most importantly the clippers are reasonably quite, just a soft hum. A great value!

i used reminghton,wahl and many other random brands to get a army hair cut.They had fancy design but output wasn`t much.I always saw this trimmer at my barber place but never knew its name or brand.once i start using it i felt its the same trimmer used by barber so i inquired her on my next visit and been told they use same brand and are quite heavy duty and highly recommened.so if you want professional looking hair cut, its the brand to pick.Free Trimmer that comes along with it is excellant and perfect for french cut along with shaping beard.All trimmer need is a single AA battery. There are other conair brands too .They differ in size,color,packing .All are basically same with different pieces to get different hair lenght of hair cut.

It is a great hair cutter for this price. Do not expect miracles, but it defnitely will cut your hair, Comes with many useful accessories like scissors, comb etc.

I ordered this razor for those days I'm in a hurry to get to work and don't have time to shave at home. I'm gotten used to electric razors, even expensive ones, not giving that great a shave. This one is different. It cuts the whiskers exceptionally close. It buzzes like an angry bee and even irritates the skin on my upper lip a tad, but for me those factors are no big deal. If you want to drive and shave at the same time I highly recommend this great little product.

Best gadget for my husband. Small, convenient, works well. Plugs into his car outlet and he can do a quick shave.

This shaver has been a pain ever since I bought it. The inside area is covered in some sort of sticky residue that restricts the blades from moving, so I have to clean it as much as possible just to get it to turn on. When it does turn on, it moves very slowly so that I can feel every hair being shaved (ouch). The on/off button rarely works, so it takes me a good 20 tries or so to get it on/off. The round shape, too, makes it difficult to reach spots where you want precision, like the bikini line because you can't get close enough. I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone.
