"I bought this lint shaver for the winter school season. I was so surprise how well it works. My uniform sweaters were buzz for 5 minutes and it ready to be worn. Isn't it great?"

The lint shaver works great! It removes all pimples from my sweater they look almost like new.

I have purchased this and to my grave dissapointemnt this product does not work. The customer service is rude, sarcastic and not helpful. The most awful experience I have had while buying from these people. Beware and do not give them your money! Products doesnt work and returns are a hassle!!! The shaver works so slowly and badly that I wouldnt even try to return it anymore, it belongs in the trash, not here for sale

I was furious upon receiving this item to see how feeble, cheap looking and feeling it was. For ten more bucks I should have purchased a shaver from Sharper Image instead of this pretend brand. The plastic container feels like it can be cracked in my palm, the battery topper gets jammed, the blades work when they feel like rotating, not when you want them to, and you are never sure that hitting "on" switch will provide any results; in another words a nightmare. I thought I was saving money, and they don't refund shipping charges, so even upon return of this horrible product you end up losing a few bucks. Never again am I buying anything form this brand. It seriously cut one ball of my sweater, and my clothes aren't even that worn, I was simply looking for something that would defuzz it gently but this did not work. Do not waste time and money on this, as you can read the reviewer below me had the same issue so it is clearly a bad product.

I purchased the shaver for some of those big'n'bobbly sweaters/cardigans and this shaver could not even trim them. The motor on the razor slows down everytime it had to cut something, causing it to barely work. The casing for the shaver is badly put together and feels like it is going to fall apart any second. The end of the handle where you insert the batteries is weak and could easily break, causing your batteries to be stylishly taped in. I would never purchase this product again. A plug-in shaver may be a better purchase.

Philips Norelco 7310 Men's Shaving System Philips Norelco 7310 Men's Shaving System

Easy to use and clean/rinse. Good, close, quick shave. Expect up to ten shaves per charge. Would have liked a travel case with it. Lack of low-battery-charge indicator could leave you with a suddenly dead shaver if the charging cord isn't handy, since one can only finish the shave with it plugged in. Probably not a problem if you always leave it plugged in when not in use, but that is not recommended for optimum rechargeble battery life. Just remember to pack the charging cord when you travel. For the price, I'm well satisfied.

I shaved with this for the first time yesterday. I had about 3 days worth of whiskers and it easily cut them. My prior razor was also a Norelco and I owned it for at least 3 years. It never gave me any problems at all. I am very happy with how this one is made. The pop up head is a nice feature and makes cleaning it easy. I also like having a push button to turn it on instead of sliding a switch. I am glad that I did not opt to buy anything more expensive because I don't see how I'd be any more pleased.

I have been shaving with a blade for over forty years, and since retirement I now don't shave everyday. (Just me and my teenage son here.) Some years back I tried a budget foil shaver that torn half my face off, and later a budget rotary that was not much better. I decided to read some reviews on some expensive rotary shavers (not that I intended to spend $200+ for one) and found that all the bells and whistles on the latest models (from reviews) were more of a hassle than help. I then started looking at reviews on some moderately priced units and came across one review on the 7310 that said: "Norelco had it right years ago and then ruined it". I gave it a try and it has only been a month but so far I have been very happy with the shave. It is quiet, and shaves me as close as a blade. I have to go over my neck a couple of times (whiskers grow sideways) but I had to do that with a blade. My 17yr. old son tried it and now I will probably have to buy him one, and he has been using those fancy and expensive 5 blade Gillette razors. I only write a review if an item is really bad or pretty good. This item is pretty good and I would have given it 5 stars except after about 10 days it stopped halfway. I recharged it and it is humming again, but there should be a red warning light, although I kinda knew it was ready for a charge. I would recommend this shaver.

I bought this in a deal in walmart with very reasonable price. But this is NOT good as I thought. It is very irritating when you use at neck region. Like said in the instructions I used it for 3 weeks to see the results. Its still the same so I returned it. I would not recommend this to a friend. Thanks

An excellent shaver. Cuts close with minimum passes, a trimmer that is easy to use, and easy to clean under warm running water. Comfortable and secure in the hand. About two weeks between charges. Cordless, but if the battery dies during a shave, can be used corded. Nice compact charger, selects right voltage automatically, so great for international travel. So much better than the Remington MS2-390 I ditched after just a few months. I would definitely recommend this rotary Norelco over the foil Remington. A couple of minor niggles; first, no carry case - so I'll be using that from my old Norelco that served me well for about eight years; and charge time on this new one is about eight hours - but only 40 mins on the old Norelco - is this really progress?! Include a case and faster charge and I'd give it a 5 star.

I use this trimmer only once a week but I love it. I trims really well. It cuts close on my neck. The price is great. I recommend this trimmer. And the nose trimmer works great.

I placed a new battery in turned it on and it worked for 5 minutes made a noise and has not worked since. Very disappointed but would cost more to send it back that the product is worth! Larry Goddard

OK, I'm aware that this is a $12 product and you get what you pay for.. However, I just saw the trimmer I had before this one, a basic Philips Norelco product, for $20 at Target and I used it for 2-3 years w/o any problems! I can't explain how unsatisfied I am with this Wahl product.. I really think it costs them $1 to make this item.. My face still hurts after a painful trimming.. The blades feel like they've been made with the cheapest steel from an old clunker in China.. They smell like they're burning. I don't have a sensitive skin, but there are red spots allover due to the cheap material. And, it is very loud and too fast. As a very wise English person once said "I am not rich enough to buy cheap things" -- I wish I listened to him instead of Amazon.com reviews..

better than my previous trimmer by far. right length cutter heads which my other did not have, at 3 times the price. This in my opinion is a true value. Vendor was great with fair postage and a very low price.

After reading some of the reviews, I was skeptical about ordering this. I am glad I did. First, you have to remember that this is a beard TRIMMER! Not a shaver. It's not going to get as close as a blade and isnt meant to. That said, for the job it is suppose to do, it does excellent. I have been using mine for close to a month now almost daily, and the batteries are still going strong, the blade is still sharp, and even the nose hair trimmer is working great. The speed at which the trimmer operates really surprised me and I would easily compare it to a plug in model. I say order it and try it out. If you dont like it, you can always return it. I will be keeping mine.

Braun Free Control 1775 Men's Shaver Braun Free Control 1775 Men's Shaver

Reviews

Has a quality feel to it, but I'm sure they designed it that way. Good unit so far. I am a refugee from the Norelco three head system which results in the occasional ingrown hair and red bumps on your face that won't go away for years.

You can't beat the price for this quality shaver. I replaced another old brand as my travel shaver and could not be happier. Good feel and weight and does a great job. I do not have a heavy beard but this is comparable to my 7000 series that I have at home that I have used for many years and love as well. Braun is a excellent brand and you won't be disappointed.

I like it but I don't have 30 Min to shave every morning, I will stick with the Norelco so I can sleep in the extra minutes it takes to shave with the braun, Oh and if you don't shave for a day forget about trying to shave with the braun, you will need the Norelco first.

Excellent value. It's my third 1775 shaver (the first one was stolen and the screen wore out on the second). I use it to shave in the shower and never had a problem under these "extreme" wet conditions. My only grip is the components cost more than a whole new shaver. As a guy who dislikes waste, I found it was cheaper to buy a whole new shaver than replace the shaver head. Kind of like throwing away a whole ink jet printer because new units with ink are less than having to buy the ink cartridges! Bottom line, you'll love the shaver and won't find a better value. t

I've had this razor for more than a year and it gets even closer than my Gillete Fusion Power! It has a little trouble cutting longer beard hair but that is expected from these. It does very very well on like a 5 o clock shadow kindo of shave. Also the flip out cutter is very strong as well. I would recommend this to anyone who has hair on their face.

Norelco Rechargeable Cordless/Corded Speed XL Mens Shaving System (8270XLCC) Norelco Rechargeable Cordless/Corded Speed XL Mens Shaving System (8270XLCC)

I bought the Norelco 8270 [...]. I chose this model because it came with a travel pouch (which I'm glad I got) and a battery level indicator light (which I'm VERY glad I got). It's been a good shaver so far. I'm currently on the third re-charge cycle, without a problem. The info packets said each charge would provide 17 shaves. I've averaged about 5 more than that, but I don't use it for as many minutes per shave as was assumed in those calculations, so Norelco is probably pretty close in their estimates. And the battery level lights work well, giving you plenty of warning before the shaver runs out of charge. The sideburn trimmer is absolutely worthless, however, so if you're picky or have bushy burns, plan on trimming them some other way. I still have an old plug-in Norelco I bought 30 years ago that not only does a great job trimming sideburns, but is great for trimming my moustache as well. Not this shaver. All this trimmer does is pull hair. The only other weakness I've noticed is that this model doesn't give you a really close shave--you have to keep going over the same area again and again if you want to feel just skin and no stubble, and there is no adjustable head feature. And I haven't used the water-wash feature; I just use the little brush and a compressed air can (for cleaning computers) to blow out the heads. All in all, it's a good shaver. I think it's a bit pricey for what it delivers, but we're obviously a far cry from my old $[...] Norelco plug-in that gave me a much closer shave and lasted me 30 years. Aah, for the old days...

Razor - 5 stars. Washing mechanism - Zero - failed three weeks into use (Christmas present; it is now almost May) and does not work at all. Recommend purchasing just the razor, withOUT the washer.
